Student Representative: Pueblo Community College
Brody Nickel , OTAS

What do you love about OT?

I love that we have an extremely broad scope to promote purpose and quality of life with an equally massive set of tools and skills at our disposal in doing so.

How did you choose this profession?

Since I was a kid I knew I wanted to help people get better, and as I grew older that refined into wanting to help people live their best lives. I found out about OT through another therapy service and started learning more about what all it encompassed.

Why did you choose to become an OTAC student representative?

I wanted the opportunity to collaborate with an organization of professionals in our state with the shared common purpose of advancing and advocating for OT in the state of Colorado.

What's your favorite thing to do in Colorado?

My favorite thing to do is finding new restaurants that seem to pop up every week!
